Radioactive: The Karen Silkwood Mystery is a five-episode investigative documentary podcast from ABC Audio that reexamines the suspicious death and historical legacy of America’s first nuclear whistleblower. The series was named a best podcast of 2024 by Amazon Music.

As senior producer, I researched, scripted, produced and sound designed long-form narrative episodes of this award-winning podcast. I worked in close collaboration with television news reporters and producers at ABC News along with our series hosts. My contributions to this project included discovering rare archival audio and combing through thousands of pages of court records, newspaper clippings and government records to build episode scripts and craft in-depth interview questions. I also used archival materials to identify new interview sources and story angles.
