  • I am an award-winning producer and reporter for a wide variety of outlets, including the BBC, NPR, The World, Minnesota Public Radio, KFAI, Here and Now, Latino USA, Arizona Public Media, and Weekend America.

  • In 2018, I received a grant and produced a feature-length historical audio documentary, “A Fiery Unrest: Why Plymouth Avenue Burned.”

  • I currently serve as Senior Producer on KFAI’s MinneCulture podcast, which features overlooked stories about Minnesota arts, culture, and history.

  • My print/digital reporting has appeared in outlets including NPR.org, Minnesota Monthly, PRI’s Across Women’s Lives, MinnPost, and The New York Daily News.

  • I co-chair the Twin Cities Radio Club.

Producer, On Being • American Public Media • Saint Paul, MN • 2009–2013

  • I produced one of APM’s most renowned and popular shows. My duties included researching, pre-interviewing, field reporting, scriptwriting, fact checking, and working with the host to produce hundreds of long-form interviews with a wide range of guests, from neuroscientists to poets. I also edited audio for the national broadcast. 

  • Additionally, I managed the show’s production calendar, which meant ensuring weekly broadcast deadlines were met. I ran the weekly staff meeting, and coordinated and managed complex international production trips. 

  • I produced weekly original print, audio, and multimedia content for On Being’s website and blog, I also contributed to social media and listener engagement initiatives, including live- tweeting studio interviews.

Intern, APM Reports • American Public Media| Saint Paul, MN • 2008–2009

  • I conducted original research for long-form audio documentaries. I also produced host narration, selected and cleared music rights, and reported and wrote digital features.

Other Activities 

For the past five years, I’ve used my extensive interview skills to work part-time as a Reference Specialist for Isaacson, Miller, an executive search firm that recruits leaders for some of the country’s leading universities, healthcare, arts and other mission-driven organizations. I have conducted in- depth, confidential reference interviews with over 800 people to date, including medical researchers, college presidents, and Fortune 500 CEOs.
